  • Type I Services – (Surgical areas) Rendered in operating rooms (OR), scrub rooms, prep rooms, sterile processing department, and Labor and delivery (L&D)
  • Type II Services – (Patient Areas) Rendered inpatient rooms, isolation rooms, recovery rooms, intensive care units, emergency rooms, and nursery
  • Type III Services – (Restrooms) Rendered in restrooms, showers, and locker rooms
  • Type IV Services – (Clinical/Support Areas) Rendered in clinics, laboratories, veterinary facilities, radiology, therapy areas, and dental facilities
  • Type V Services – (Administrative Areas) Rendered in administrative areas, offices, storage rooms, medication/nourishment rooms, and break rooms
  • Type VI Services – (Common Areas) Rendered in corridors, ramps, walkways, stairwells, elevators, lobbies, waiting areas, entranceways, fitness centers, dining rooms, and on-call rooms
  • Floor/Periodic Services – Provide scrubbing of floors, stripping and/or refinishing, carpet cleaning, window/wall washing, and curtain exchange
  • Linen Services – Provide management, personnel, and vehicles for all phases of the linen operations to include pick up, transport, distribution, and inventory
  • Regulated Medical Waste (RMW)Services – Handle, collect and transport RMW and yellow cytotoxic waste containers
  • Contingency Services – Rendered in unforeseen circumstances, or when an emergent condition exists
